The head of Hong Kong-based investment company QSL Sports Ltd has been in talks with Royal Bank of Scotland for some time over buying out the Reds' £237million debt. Full name is Huang Jianhua, aka Kenneth Huang.

Liverpool Football Club are currently co-owned by Americans George N. Gillett Jr. and Tom Hicks but the club faces a mountain of debut after a leveraged buy-out.

Liverpool supporters have campaigned to remove the two American after failed promises of a new stadium, team investment and the mistreatment of legendary manager Rafael Benitez.

Supporters' union Spirit of Shankly (SOS) have led the way with a 'Tom & George Not Welcome Here' campaign.
