England opened the scoring in the second minute of the game with a fine volley from Kyle McFadzean (Crawley Town). The visitors extended their lead before the interval through Alex Rodman (Tamworth).

Wales came back stronger in the second half, with former Wrexham player Marc Williams (Kidderminster Harriers) taking charge. But it wasn't until the 83rd minute that Wales make the break-through. Scott Barrow (Tamworth) see his shot parried by Goalkeeper Seb Brown (AFC Wimbledon) and Craig Moses (Llanelli) was on hand to tap the ball into the empty net.

Four minutes later and Wales were level. Following a corner the ball fell to substitute Lee Surman (Port Talbot Town) who fired in right-footed from just side the area on his 'wrong' foot.

In the dying minutes and injury time Wales had two chances to seal a victory as Jack Christopher (Haverfordwest County) and Williams went close.
